Over a continuum of 35 years, the painted work of Bernard Alligand has evolved in a constant and rigorous regularity - interference from external elements - technical innovations and subjective data.
Considering the work of the artist, and each piece in particular, we are struck by the way in which forms, themes, images, techniques echo from one work to another, from one period to another.
The artist travels: climates, landscapes, crafts, everything arouses his curiosity. It gathers impressions, materials, colors ... and the immersion is twofold: that of the artist, country he meets, that of the country in the consciousness of the artist.
